Castaway

Christian life requires discipline. St. Paul was saying that we as Christians must all exercise self control in all things. Athletes do it to win a trophy, we exercise it to win the gift of eternal life.

1 Corinthians 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
