In God's presence

Here was God appearing before Moses to prepare the Ten Commandments for a second time as the earlier one had been smashed by Moses when he saw Aaron and the children of Israel worship the Golden calf. Following this Moses interceded on behalf of the Israelites and God revealed Himself to Moses as a compassionate and gracious God. How many of us picture the God of the Old Testament to be one who is slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness?


Exodus 34:6 And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,

Can we reflect the compassion and love of our God in our lives.However much we may deviate God will accept us if we repent and turn back to him.
