Love of God

Jesus confronted the Pharisees and told them that they loved the approval and honor from their fellowmen. They did not really have the love of God in them. It is only when we really love God that we will understand the scriptures that point to Christ as our savior and king.

John 5:42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
