St. Paul is encouraging us to live lives led by the Holy Spirit. If we sow seeds of love and understanding and we will reap joy and eternal life. If not he is warning us that when we sow seeds of doubt and despair in our hearts, we will end up on the path to self destruction. If we sow seeds of malice and hatred toward others, we shall only fall prey to their evil devices.


Galatians 6:7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
