Gratuitous Weakness





St. Paul says when he is among a group of believers, he tries to empathize with them so that he can effectively discuss the issues that concern them. He hopes in lowering his standards and becoming weak, he can save a few of the weak who see things from a different perspective, or at least relate to a few who are willing to listen and learn from him.

1 Corinthians 9:22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
