Stumbling Block

There are times when we as Christians excercise certain liberties that make other Christians think that they can do the same. In so doing some stray away from the faith or cut off all association with us. In this case St.Paul was saying as mature Christians we must be careful when we eat meat that have been offered to idols. For in so doing there may be some who will either condemn us as evil or some who will do the same and fall prey to the dominion of the evil one.

1 Corinthians 8:9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
