Servanthood

As Christian servants we are often misunderstood by others. Our love for our enemies is often seen as a threat to society. Our suffering is viewed as a curse from God. Our sacrifices are viewed with scorn and suspicion. But we endure because we trust in the living Lord and savior Jesus Christ who also endured and showed us the path to eternal life.

1 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
