Thanks and Praise

David reflects on the hand of God that led the people of Israel out of Egypt even as Pharaoh and his people trembled with fear at the power of the God of Israel. God provided them with water from the rock, manna from heaven for bread, and quail for meat. He protected them from their enemies and gave them the rich and fertile land of Canaan to occupy. David encourages us to search for God and His strength for our daily lives, and to come before him with thanks and praise.

Psalm 105:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

Lord help us to recollect the wonders you have done in the lives of our ancesters and draw strength in you and trust in you as they have done in the past.
